Is there any change to the commuter benefit?
Monthly contribution limits for eligible transit, parking, and/or vanpool expenses are increasing to $315.
The annual contribution limit for Commuter Accounts is projected to increase. However, the IRS usually waits around until November to decide on those limits. For Annual Enrollment purposes, we will be using the 2024 limit.
Can I enroll in commuter benefits any time or only during Annual Enrollment?
Commuter benefits enrollment is not limited to Annual Enrollment, but the deadline for enrolling in commuter benefits is the Friday before each paycheck.
For example, to contribute for February 2025, you would need to have submitted your election no later than Friday, February 7. The first paycheck in February is issued on Friday, February 14, and the processing cutoff is the prior Friday.
